Quadro, now 8 years old, an impressive 16.3 gray, was imported from Portugal in 1998. He was purchased by New Gait Manor from one of the top Portuguese breeders, Arsenio Cordeiro. Quadro is the grandson of the famous Lusitano stallion, Novilheiro, who had a glorious competitive career with Olympic Showjumping rider, John Whitaker, in the 1980s.
