Georges Malleroni

Originally from France, Georges is presently the technical director of the Alcainca School of Equitation in Portugal where dressage lessons from beginner to Haute Ecole are given on the famous Lusitano Stallions. Georges is well known for his clinics in France, Switzerland, Germany and Spain. He has studied under the Master of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, Don Jose Athayde, and for five years under The Master, Nuno Oliveira.

Over the past seven years New Gait Manor has had the pleasure of hosting dressage clinics for Georges Malleroni. During that time, Georges student clientele has steadily increased as word of his skill in all phases of teaching and training has spread throughout the equestrian network. Mr. Malleroni now fills several 12 day clinics per year with students eagerly awaiting his return.

Mr. Malleroni has distinguished himself from other instructors by his ability to communicate his ideas to his students and by his steadfast commitment to teaching, and thereby preserving, the equestrian art of dressage. Georges has demonstrated this commitment by the focus and attention he applies to every horse and rider combination whether they are just beginning or more advanced in their studies. Georges' keen assessment of horse and rider has helped to remedy problem situations and alleviate hours of frustration for both horse and rider.

Praise for Georges Malleroni

"I was delighted to find in Georges a true 'Master'.  He is a generous, kind and positive teacher and creates in his students a huge enthusiasm to do better, to work harder for him and consequently every rider, at whatever level, improves visibly in every lesson.  I am particularly grateful to him myself since as a teacher and trainer I know my riding deteriorates when I do not have the opportunity of a trained eye on me.  After a week with Georges my seat is amazingly improved, I feel stronger and I learn constantly from him. “Georges Malleroni offers an integrated synthesis in his dressage teaching. He focuses on ancient Classical technique, as well as modern bio-mechanical perspectives. He is an evolutionary rider...always growing, going deeper, expanding his horizons. His dressage work has given him insight, athletic ability, compassion and patience. I take my own students to Portugal annually to introduce them to this contemporary Master. “                 Dr. Sherry L. Ackerman    www.sherryackerman.com
